As an awarding organisation, RLSS UK is committed to communicating qualification updates and raising awareness of key topics for our TAs to be mindful of and remind and refresh them of best practices.

We have designed a CPD to remind, refresh, and hopefully rejuvenate our trainer and assessors’ approach to delivering courses and assessments.

This CPD launched on 1 September 2024, and we recommend, as trainers and assessors, that you complete it by 31 December 2024. 

The CPD is in your RLSS UK Account under Awards and Training, Online Learning, Update.

The three topics for 2024 are:

• Safeguarding, awareness of responsibilities and reporting.
• Neurodiversity, what is it? Information on types and needs and considerations for trainer delivery and assessment.
• Training and assessing - refresher and reminders of the roles and responsibilities, the impact of our actions, and reminders of paperwork completion.

The three videos plus the quiz will take (approximately) 45 minutes to 1 hour of your time.
