Swim England About our Partnership Our partnership with Swim England will make it even easier for swimming teachers and lifeguards, to access high-quality training. Being experts and market leaders in our respective fields, together we have trained more than 85 per cent of all swimming teachers, coaches and lifeguards, working within the industry. This partnership sees new and exciting opportunities for courses for the aquatic workforce, all with the aim of allowing individuals to achieve easier access to a range of qualifications, whilst maintaining the same high standards. About Swim England Swim England is the only recognised national governing body for swimming in England. We help people learn how to swim, enjoy the water safely, and compete in all our sports. Our vision is of a nation swimming and we strive to inspire everyone to enjoy the water in the way that suits them. We are incredibly proud of our history, which spans more than 150 years, while we welcomed HRH The Prince of Wales as our Patron in 2017. In the same year, we also became an incorporated organisation with charitable status. From learners to teachers, athletes to coaches, we support people to achieve their best in the water. Our research team provides detailed information about the people who go swimming – and those that don’t – to help develop new initiatives that encourage more people to take advantage of the many health and wellbeing benefits of swimming.
